My wife bought this bench back in October along with the rack. Around August she convinced me to workout with her in our garage. I was 3 sets into my flat bench workout when all the sudden the barbell was on the safety bars and I was doing a decline bench. Come to find out the set pin on the adjustable bench bent in half and dented the metal between the set holes. If it wasn’t for the safety bars the barbell would have introduced my trachea to the bench seat. Until the design of the pin is changed to go all the way through the bench, or becomes thicker I would not trust this bench at all especially with 850lbs. Weight: 215 Barbell weight: 245

Wife purchased the bench back in June. Around October she convinced me to do a home workout with her. It was going pretty well and I was 3 sets in until all the sudden I was decline benching and the barbell was on the safety bars. After getting over the fact that my trachea almost befriended the back of my neck I looked at the bench and saw the adjustable pin was bent in half and the metal along the adjustable bench holes was dented. Until the design of the bench is fixed with a set pin going all the way through so it doesn’t slip I wouldn’t purchase this bench at all. Weight: 210 Barbell : 245
