    Perfect for me

The squat stand is exactly what I needed. It's well made and easy to assemble. It's well worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Start of a fully functional home gym

After depressingly scroll through rouge for a squat rack, I went to Google for cheaper alternatives and found grind. After being skeptical, I just went for it and ordered my Alpha 1000, and now I'm hooked. It stood solidly at my heaviest at 310 LB and now at 284 LB it dosnt rock even if I try and force it. The clearly numbered position on the uprights eliminates the guess work when squating or benching which makes an already amazing product convenient. This rack was my gateway drug because I decided to buy a barbell after and fell in love. One flat bench and kettle bell set later and I've made a 100% commitment to grind as far as outfitting my home gym. As soon as new stuff comes out , it goes immediately into the cart lol. I'm extremely impressed and the best part is which the price compared to the other guys , I can actually make a fully functional gym in the comfort of my own home. Grind has now become a permanent part of my fitness journey. Thank you guys!! P.s. excuse the atmosphere of my gym...like I said.... work in progress haha.

Great product and doesn’t get better for the money

Man, what can I say? Awesome product and can not get anything better at this price point. Could not be happier with this gym piece. I weigh 215 and it doesn’t even act like it can’t handle my weight while doing ab exercises while hanging. Would recommend it to anyone who might want to cut the gym membership and diy at home. A+++ rating and couldn’t be happier

    QC issues

While putting the rack together I had noticed that one of the bolt holes that secure the upper and lower uprights were misaligned by alittle less than 3/8" and had substantial burring left over from the fabrication process on the interior of the upper half of the upright which wouldn't allow the upper and lower to mate without significant force. The quality control mishap added an extra 20 minutes of filing to the install. For most people this is where the excitement of putting their rack together will turn into a headache of going through a return/exchange and reshipment process. It definitely made question my confidence in the reliability of the rack and its structural integrity. However once fully installed and torqued it is sturdy and holds a bar and some plates no problem. If anything I would say dont leave a bar, loaded or not, on the rack any longer than your set/workout. What I'd like to see from the manufacturer is torque specs/pattern included in the manual to ensure a secure and aligned end product, aside from better QC, obviously. Regardless of the issue I had it is a good rack for the price and I doubt my issue happens often, at least I'd hope it doesn't. In the words of Flannel Daddy, "It'll f-ck"
