    QC issues

While putting the rack together I had noticed that one of the bolt holes that secure the upper and lower uprights were misaligned by alittle less than 3/8" and had substantial burring left over from the fabrication process on the interior of the upper half of the upright which wouldn't allow the upper and lower to mate without significant force. The quality control mishap added an extra 20 minutes of filing to the install. For most people this is where the excitement of putting their rack together will turn into a headache of going through a return/exchange and reshipment process. It definitely made question my confidence in the reliability of the rack and its structural integrity. However once fully installed and torqued it is sturdy and holds a bar and some plates no problem. If anything I would say dont leave a bar, loaded or not, on the rack any longer than your set/workout. What I'd like to see from the manufacturer is torque specs/pattern included in the manual to ensure a secure and aligned end product, aside from better QC, obviously. Regardless of the issue I had it is a good rack for the price and I doubt my issue happens often, at least I'd hope it doesn't. Great for your home gym

Set up was simple (took about 30 minutes with my socket set), feels sturdy enough and is the perfect size for my garage gym. Not necessarily a power lifter so this is great for my squats and bench. You can’t beat it for the price.
